Configuring Your Managed System 25Baud RateThis field sets the baud rate at which serial data is transferred by the BMC when SOL is active. Thechoices are Default IPMI, 9600 bps, 19.2 kbps, 38.4 kbps, 57.6 kbps, and 115.2 kbps. If DefaultIPMI is selected, the baud rate used is the rate currently set for BIOS serial redirection. When SOLis active, serial communication with the BMC always occurs with 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit,and RTS/CTS (hardware) flow control.LAN Alert ConfigurationSee the System Software Guide on the Resource CD for information about configuring BMC LANalerts.
