Installing System Components 10512 Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on,including any attached peripherals.13 Press to enter the System Setup program, and check the SystemMemory setting on the main System Setup screen.The system should have already changed the value to reflect the newlyinstalled memory.14 If the value is incorrect, one or more of the memory modules may not beinstalled properly. Repeat step 2 through step 13 of this procedure toensure that the memory modules are firmly seated in their sockets.15 Run the system memory test in the system diagnostics. Allow time for the memory modules to coolbefore handling them.
