150xxx | LDAP Feature for the RCSxxxSIP Privileges tab of the DPO provides the means for a user who cannot viewthe on-board web interface to launch Video Viewer sessions to a subset of SIPsthrough the RCS Client. This authorization is controlled by a combination ofthe configuration parameters set in the DPO and the SIP Objects contained inthe Dell Association Object (DAO).If you do not wish a user to have authorization to access the on-board webinterface, but you do wish them to be able to launch viewer sessions from theRCS Client, perform the following steps:1 Create a Dell SIP object for each SIP that the User(s) is (are) allowed toaccess.2 Create an Active Directory User account for each of the users to becontrolled.3 Create a DPO. Do not check any of the three boxes on the KVM RCSPrivileges tab. Check the Console Redirection Access box on the KVM SIPPrivileges tab.NOTE: If you check any of the KVM RCS Privileges checkboxes and youcheck the Console Redirection Access box, the normal User Privilegesassociated with the privilege level checked in the KVM RCS Privileges boxwill take precedence over the Console Redirection Access checkbox, and theuser will still be able to view the AMP.4 Create a DAO.5 Open the properties dialog for the DAO created in step 4.a. Add all the user accounts created in step 2.b. Add the DPO created in step 3.c. Add the SIP objects created in step 1.Using Active Directory to Log In to the RCSYou can use Active Directory to log in to the RCS through the RCS software orOBWI.The login syntax is consistent for all three methods:
