Exercise care when handling thehard drive.Procedure1 Slide the hard drive into the hard-drive bracket.2 Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the screw holes on the hard-drivebracket and replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.3 Connect the interposer to the hard-drive assembly.NOTE: Ensure that there are no cables under the hard drive.4 Align the screw holes on the hard-drive assembly with the screw holes on thepalm-rest assembly.5 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the palm-rest assembly.6 Adhere the mylar on the hard-drive assembly.7 Connect the hard-drive cable to the system-board.8 Slide the I/O-board cable into the I/O-board cable connector and press down onthe connector latch to secure the cable.Postrequisites1 Replace the battery.
