9Setting Up Your XPS™ 625A network connection is not required tocomplete your computer setup, but if you havean existing network or Internet connectionthat uses a cable connection (such as ahome cable modem or Ethernet jack), you canconnect it now. Use only an Ethernet cable(RJ45 connector). Do not plug a telephone cable(RJ11 connector) into the network connector.To attach your computer to a network orbroadband device, connect one end of thenetwork cable to either a network port or abroadband device. Connect the other end of thenetwork cable to the network adapter connectoron the back panel of your computer.
