11Setting Up Your XPS™ 625DSL connections that provide high-speed•Internet access through your existingtelephone line or cellular telephone service.With a DSL connection, you can access theInternet and use your telephone on the sameline simultaneously.Cable modem connections that provide•high-speed Internet access through yourlocal cable TV line.Satellite modem connections that provide•high-speed Internet access through asatellite television system.Dial-• up connections that provide Internetaccess through a telephone line. Dial-upconnections are considerably slowerthan DSL and cable (or satellite) modemconnections. Your computer does not havean integrated modem. An optional USBmodem must be used for dialup service withthis computer.Wireless LAN (WLAN) connections that•provide Internet access using WiFi 802.11technology.
