Check theconnection.• A USB memory device not conforming to mass storage class orMTP standards is connected. Connect a USB memory deviceconforming to mass storage class or MTP standards.• A USB memory device that the set cannot recognize is connected.This is not a malfunction. DENON does not guarantee that all USBmemory devices will operate or receive power.• USB memory device is connected via USB hub. Connect the USBmemory device directly to the USB port.10–––Files on a USBmemory devicecannot be played.• USB memory device is in format other than FAT16 or FAT32.Set the format to FAT16 or FAT32. For details, refer to the USBmemory device’s operating instructions.• USB memory device is divided into multiple partitions. Whendivided into multiple partitions, only files stored in the top partitioncan be played.• Files are stored in a non-compatible format. Record the files in acompatible format.• You are attempting to play a file that is copyright protected. Filesthat are copyright protected cannot be played on this unit.––4242The file namesare not displayedproperly (“...”, etc.).• Characters that cannot be displayed are used. This is not amalfunction. On this unit, characters that cannot be displayed arereplaced with a “.” (period).–Internet radio cannotbe played.• Ethernet cable is not properly connected or network isdisconnected. Check the connection status.• Program is being broadcast in non-compatible format. OnlyInternet radio programs in MP3 and WMA can be played on thisunit.• The router’s firewall is activated. Check the router’s firewallsettings.• Radio station is not currently broadcasting. Choose a radio stationthat is currently broadcasting.• IP address is wrong. Check the set’s IP address.1228–2991Files stored on acomputer cannot beplayed.• Files are stored in a non-compatible format. Record in a compatibleformat.• You are attempting to play a file that is copyright protected. Filesthat are copyright protected cannot be played on this unit.• Set and computer are connected by USB cable. The set’s USBport cannot be used for connection to a computer.2828–Server is not found,or it is not possibleto connect to theserver.• The computer’s or router’s firewall is activated. Check thecomputer’s or router’s firewall settings.• Computer’s power is not turned on. Turn on the power.• Server is not running. Launch the server.• Set’s IP address is wrong. Wait a while beforetrying again.• Radio station is not currently in service. It is not possible toconnect to radio stations that are no longer in service.––For some radiostations, “Radiostation server full” or“Connection down”is displayed andstation cannot beconnected to.• Station is congested or not currently broadcasting. Wait a whilebefore trying again.–Sound is brokenduring playback.• Network’s signal transfer speed is slow or communications linesor radio station is congested. This is not a malfunction. Whenplaying broadcast data with a high bit rate, the sound may bebroken, depending on the communications conditions.–Sound quality is pooror played sound isnoisy.• File being played has a low bit rate. This is not a malfunction. –Cannot login toRhapsody.(“IncorrectUsername orPassword” isdisplayed.)• Login information is incorrect. Check if the Username for Rhapsodyhas been properly entered. When theplaylist is compiled in PC Application, it is registered to “MyLibrary”. Delete from PC Application. –Cannot deleteTracks, Playlists,Channels registeredin “My Library”• Cannot be done with this unit. Delete from PC Application. –Cannot login toNapster.
