The receiver continuously receives signalsfrom the hand-held remote to control theroom temperature. If the hand-held remoteis misplaced, obstructed or for any reasoncannot transmit to the receiver, the receiverwill shut off the fireplace after 8 minutes.Key pad Lock FeatureThis feature allows the user to lock/unlockthe keypad on the hand-held remote in theMANU or AUTO mode to prevent inadvertentoperation (i.e. children operating the hand-heldremote control, etc.). The keypad is locked ineither on or off. This will cause the thermocoupleto cool.
