Article 810 of theNational Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70, providesinformation with respect to correct grounding of the mastand supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wireto an antenna discharge unit, size of groundingconductors, location of the antenna-discharge unit,connection to grounding electrodes, and requirementsfor the grounding electrode.Note to CATV system installerArticle 820 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No.40 provides guidance for correct grounding. Specifically, itstates that the cable ground must be connected to thegrounding system of the building as close to the point ofcable entry as practical.CondensationMoisture will form on the TV if the TV is brought from coolsurroundings into a warm room or if the temperature ofthe room rises suddenly. When this happens, the TV'sperformance may be impaired. To prevent this, let the TVstand in its new surroundings for about an hour beforeswitching it on, or make sure that the room temperaturerises gradually.Condensation may also form during the summer if the TVis exposed to the breeze from an air conditioner.
