30 Using the DVD playerWhen you press PLAY after displaying the file browser, playbackbegins automatically starting from the first file. If there is no filein the root directory, playback does not begin automatically.3 Press ENTER. The selected file starts playing.4 Press STOP to end playback. The unit memorizes the stoppedpoint and appears on the screen. Press PLAY to resumeplayback. If you press STOP again or unload the disc, the unitclears the stopped point.Notes:During MP3/WMA/JPEG playback, you cannot use T.SEARCH and A-B.You can use Program playback, Repeat (Track or All), and Randomfeatures for MP3/WMA/ JPEG and audio CD Playback.Programming CD playbackTo program CD playback:1 In the file browser, press , , , or to select Edit Mode,then press ENTER.When Edit Mode is highlighted black, you can mark the fileswhich you want to add to the program list.2 Press , , , or to select the file you want to add to theprogram list, then press ENTER. The selected file is marked.3 Repeat this procedure to select the other files.4 Press , , , or to select Add To Program, then pressENTER. All marked files are added to the program list.When you finish adding the files you want to the program list,select Edit Mode again, then press ENTER to exit edit mode.5 Press or to highlight Program View, then press ENTER.Program View shows only the files you have added to theprogram list.6 In the Program View, press PLAY. The files start to playback inprogrammed order.7 To remove a file from the program list in stop mode, select EditMode, then switch to Program View. Select the files you wantto remove, then press ENTER. Select Clear Program and pressENTER. Marked files are removed from the program list.Note: The program is cancelled when you eject the disc or turn the poweroff.Repeating CD playbackTo repeat CD playback:1 In the file browser, press , , , or to select Repeat.2 Press ENTER repeatedly to select Track and All.3 Press PLAY. The unit starts to repeat playback after the currenttrack is finished. To resume normal playback, set Repeat to Off inStep 2.Notes:The repeat or random functions are cancelled when you eject the disc orturn the power off.The track repeat function is cancelled when SKIP forward or SKIPback is pressed.You can also use the A-B Repeat feature with audio CDs.Random CD playbackTo randomly play the tracks on a CD:1 In the file browser, press , , , or to select Mode.2 Press ENTER to select Random.3 Press PLAY. The unit starts random playback after the currenttrack is finished. To resume normal playback, set the mode to Offin Step 2.JPEG playbackTo play back JPEG files:1 Load a JPEG CD into the disc slot. The JPEG browser opens.2 Press DVD MENU to display a thumbnail list of pictures on thedisc, then press , , , or to select the file you want to see(or press DVD TITLE to return to the file browser).3 Press ENTER or PLAY. The selected picture is displayed.4 To rotate the image, press ANGLE.
