9 E AW P I L OT9 . 1 E x t r a C a p a b i l i t i e sWhile the UX8800 interface window in EAWPilot software provides the same capabilities for controllingthe UX8800 as its front panel controls, it also provides additional capabilities not available using the frontpanel controls.9.1.1 LEVEL MONITORING - ANY MODEThe meters in EAWPilot provide more accurate and much higher resolution signal level monitoring.Both the average and peak levels are easier to read and provide mush better tracking for criticalsituations.9.1.2 PARAMETER LINKING - EITHER MODEUsing the Map tab in the UX8800 interface window, parameter values for the input channels andthe output channels may be linked so that any changes will affect all such linked parameters.9.1.3 FIRMWARE UPDATE - EITHER MODEUsing the Settings tab in the UX8800 interface window, the firmware program for the UX8800 canbe updated.9.1.4 RESPONSE GRAPHS - SYSTEM PROCESSOR MODEThe Input Channel and Output Channel tabs provide a frequency response graph showing filterresponses and gain for the selected channel.
