Select the CONTROLS symbol on the main menu bar. The System Control screen is displayed.2. If not already selected, select UPS on the System Control screen.3. On the UPS System Control screen, select the HE command, then press the RETURN pushbutton.The UPS transfers to HE mode if no abnormal power conditions are detected. If abnormal powerconditions are detected, the UPS will wait and transfer to HE mode when conditions are cleared.The NORMAL status indicator is illuminated.6.3.7 Transfer from Normal Mode to Maintenance BypassTo transfer the load to maintenance bypass:1. Transfer the load to bypass mode by performing the procedure in paragraph 6.3.3.2. Remove cover from maintenance bypass switch (see Figure 6-8).3. Turn the maintenance bypass switch to the MAINTENANCE position.The UPS is now bypassed, with the load powered directly by utility power.4. Open the UPS input circuit breaker.WARNINGPower is present inside the UPS cabinet.6.3.8 Transfer from Maintenance Bypass to Normal ModeTo transfer the load to Normal mode:1. Close the UPS input circuit breaker.2. Restart the UPS in bypass mode by performing the procedure in paragraph 6.3.2.3. Verify that the UPS is in bypass mode.4. Turn the maintenance bypass switch to the UPS position.5. Reinstall the cover over the maintenance bypass switch.6. Transfer the load to normal by performing the procedure in paragraph or 6.3.4.
