126 Transport, handling and storageThe enclosures should be handled with care; any damage may invalidatethe certification.Where possible the enclosures should be transported and stored in theiroriginal packaging.The enclosures should only be transported when the door is secured bythe locking devices.If it is necessary to transport the enclosures whilst they are lying flat(lid facing up), the rear face should be fully supported.The enclosures should preferably be stored in the correct orientation withthe door secured to prevent any ingress whilst in storage, if it is necessaryto store the enclosures laying down (resting on the rear face) then thepoints below should be observed.- For larger enclosures, sizes from 1000mm x 800mm and larger specialcaution should be taken when moving the enclosures to avoid any undueskewing of the cabinets:- If the enclosure is resting on its rear face the lid should not be leftunsupported in the open position, note: the door stay fitted on largerenclosures is only designed to be used with the enclosure in the correctorientation.6.1 Installation / assemblyFor installation, assembly and operation, the respective nationalregulations as well as the general rules of engineering shall be observed.The electrical connection may only be carried out by skilledpersonnel accordance to IEC/EN 600479-14.Incorrect installation and use of the empty enclosure can invalidatethe guarantee.Painted enclosure:The intended use does not include applications with high-chargingprocesses. Those could be for example high-voltage sources generat-ing ion-winds or pneumatically transported dust atmospheres intouch with the enclosure.When a hinged lid is fitted, the enclosure shall only be mounted in avertical orientation on a flat surface, and care is required in the installationprocess and when opening the hinged lid to ensure the enclosure does notdistort.When a fully bolted lid is fitted, the enclosure may be mounted in anyorientation but it shall be on a flat surface. Care is required in theinstallation process to ensure the enclosure does not distort.Distortion will affect the sealing faces.6.2 MountingThe empty enclosure can be mounted without opening the enclosure.Empty enclosures are intended for wall mounting.
