125.3 Installation eLLM 92...A LED NEThe pole mounted light fitting is mounted and installed in the followingorder:– Unscrew the three recessed head screws inthe cover of the pole connecting compartment (fig. 1, item 1).– Open the connecting compartment by folding down the cover(fig. 1, item 2).– Pull the stay shackle of the cable entry socket up to its stop and take offthe cover plate (fig. 1, item 3).– Remove the cable entry sockets from the guiding grooves in theconnecting compartment.– Then the pole mounting tube or the tube of the wall socket of 42 mm [each (fig. 1, item 4) is pushed home into the opening of the light fitting(fig. 1, item 4a).– Adjust the light fitting and screw down the pre assembled M 6 specialscrews (torque of 3.0 Nm, fig. 1, item 5).– Introduce the cable through the tube and strip the insulation to therequired length.– Introduce the cable through the Ex cable entry (KLE) and tighten it withthe pressure screw of the cable entry.– The complete support (with the cable being introduced) is put into theguiding grooves of the pole mounted light fitting (fig. 1, item 6).– Lock the support with the stay shackle(fig. 1, item 3).– Insert the cable into the pull-relief and tighten it (fig. 1, item 7).– Then connect the cable in accordance with the terminal marking. If multi- or fine-wire connecting cables are used, the wire ends will haveto be handled in acc. with the applicable national and international rules.(e.g. use of sleeves for strands).5.4 LED module insertingAs delivered, the LED module (CML 17ATEX3243U /IECEx CML 17.0137U) is attached to the light fitting.Use only approved CCH / EATON stock items in stock!Do not damage the LED module reflector.Only transport the LED module in its original packing. When removing from the packaging and fitting in to the light fitting, only handle the unit by the plastic parts at the ends (Fig 6a).Insert the LED module in the G13 versions of linear luminaire fig. 7.Snap the module into the G13-sockets of the light fitting, whereby adistinct clicking sound can be heard (Fig. 2.8).6. Taking into operationPrior to operation, check the light fitting for its proper functioningand installation in compliance with these operating instructions andother applicable regulations!Only carry out insulation measurements between PE and the externalconductor L1 (L, L2, L3) as well as between PE and N.– measuring voltage: max. 1 kV DC– measuring current: max. 10 mAMind: There must no insulation measurement be carried outbetween L and N, since that would destroy the electronics (mainsinput fuse in the VE unit).– Then the luminaire will have to be closed. The terminal compartment ofthe pole mounted light fitting (eLLM 92..) is again to be covered with thecover plate that was previously removed. To that effect, pull up the stay shackle of the cable entry socket (fig. 1,item 3) and clamp down the cover plate and the cable entry socket withthe stay shackle. Again screw down the cover of the terminal compart-ment with the three recessed head screws.– Switch on the mains voltage and then the light fitting.– Leave the light fitting switched on for at least14 hours so that the battery will be recharged.– After that, release a function test of the emergency light connection, see 7. Maintenance, function test.7. MaintenanceThe national regulations applicable to the maintenance, servicingand test of apparatus for explosive atmospheres as well as thegeneral rules of engineering will have to be observed(IEC/EN 60079-17 and IEC/EN 60079-19)!7.1 ServicingWhen servicing, in particular those components that affect the explosionprotection, will have to be checked, e. g.:– Housing and protective bowl for any cracks or damages.– Gaskets for their perfect condition.– Terminals and blanking plugs for their firm fit.– Because of the risk of an electrostatic charge, the light fitting shall onlybe cleaned with a damp, non-fibrous cloth or sponge!Only use customary household washing-up liquid diluted in water! Thewater temperature may be max. 50 °C.After that, rinse with clear water to prevent the risk of tension cracks inthe protective bowl!– Lamp replacement: Keep replacement intervals as specified by the lampmanufacturer!7.2 Test of the emergency light functionSwitch the luminaire off the mains voltage. The emergency operation LED row (row with green spot) must light upThe emergency function lasts at least 1 min..A function test should not exceed the following test periods:Battery set for 1.5 h emergency light: 60 min.Battery set for 3.0 h emergency light: 120 min.Note: See the enclosed operating instructions for eBK12, No. 3 2211 000 172for further information on the automatic function and operation durationtest8. Repair / Overhaul / ModificationsPrior to replacing or removing any components, observe thefollowing:Cut the apparatus off the voltage before opening or servicing it!The battery have to be removed.Repairs and overhaul may only be carried out with genuine CooperCrouse-Hinds / EATON spare parts. In the event of damage, replacement of these components ismandatory. In case of doubt, the respective apparatus shall be sentto CCH / EATON for repair.Reconstruction or modifications to LED module are not permitted.Repairs that affect the explosion protection, may only be carriedout by CCH / EATON or a qualified electrician in compliance with theapplicable national rules (IEC/EN 60079-19).Explosion protected emergency light fittingsSeries: eLLK(M)(S)92 LED 400A(800A) NE GB
