156.1 Special regulations for ESF-E30/13 with optional Wall MountingMANUAL ESF-E30 40071860041 (G) November 2018 www.ceag.de6.1 Special regulations for ESF-E30/13with optional Wall MountingAlignmentThe enclosures must be screwed to the masonry withdowels which have a general building approval. Thestatic conditions must be taken into account. The screwconnection must not cause any stresses to be applied tothe housing. It must be ensured that the installation orattachment of the electrical distributors does not impairthe stability, sound insulation and fire resistance of theadjacent component - even in the event of fire. The approval object of type “US-S ESF30 13-S” must besuspended from solid walls (d ≥ 240 mm) with a fire resis-tance duration of at least 30 minutes. The approval objectof type “US-S ESF30 28-S” must be placed vertically onsolid walls (d ≥ 240 mm) and on solid ceilings (d ≥ 150mm) made of non-combustible building materials with afire resistance duration of at least 30 minutes. Assignmentof the classified fire behaviour properties to the buildingauthority requirements in accordance with Building Regu-lations List A Part 1 Annex 0.2.1 or 0.2.2 (in the respec-tively valid edition, see www.dibt.de).Exterior wall mounting byoptional wall mountingplate with CEAG-part-no.:40071347730Cable seizureThe cables have to meetcircuit integrity which isrequired on-site.Put the cable sheatsthrough the cable coolingroom and insert the cablecores into the electricaloperating room by usingthe second separation.detail XCablecooling roomElectricaloperation roomScrew connectionEnclosures must be screwed to the masonry with dowels(at least M10) that have a general technical approval andwhich are designed to accommodate the total weight.Static factors must be taken into account. The screwconnection must not subject the enclosure to any tension. For mounting the distributor housing to adjacent solidconstruction components, dowels and steel screws mustbe used that are suitable for this purpose and that complyto the static requirements and general constructional orEuropean technical approvals. The special requirementsof specific general constructional approvals or Europeantechnical approvals must be observed. In addition, steelscrews used must have a recess depth of at least 70mm; the screws must be of galvanised steel, of at leaststrength class 5.8 and with a diameter of at least M10.Insertion of cables in the enclosureIt must be ensured that cables with circuit integrity areinserted in the enclosure vertically and without tension.Depending on the cable equipment, the general appraisalcertificate (allgemeines bauaufsichtliches Prüfzeugnis,ABP) or general technical approval (allgemeine bauauf-sichtliche Zulassung, ABZ) of the relevant manufacturermust be observed outside the enclosure.
