Mount the IQ35M-ENC enclosure to a wall or a panelCut holes in the enclosure for wire conduit connections prior to theinstallation of the meter in the enclosure. After running the wiring,seal all holes properly to maintain the enclosure rating. If usingmetallic conduit, bonding between the conduit connections is notautomatic and must be provided as a part of the installation.Take care to protect the equipment from drill chips, filings, and othercontaminants when making the wire entry holes and mounting theenclosure to prevent component damage or a future malfunction.Use the included mounting hardware to attach the mounting feetto the enclosure. Then mount the enclosure to the wall or thepanel using either a 4-point or 2-point configuration (hardware formounting to the wall/panel is provided by the installer). The 4-pointconfiguration is shown below. For a 2-point configuration, mount thefeet as shown, but rotate the bottom feet 180 degrees so that theyare flush against the back of the enclosure.Step 3. Install IQ 35M Series meter onto DIN railinside the IQ35M-ENCRun meter wiring through the holes drilled previously. Wire themeter according to the instructions in the meter installation guide.Push the top of the meter onto the DIN rail.Push the bottom of the meter onto the DIN rail until there is anaudible click.Lower the four brackets so that the swing panel cover can beattached using the enclosed hardware.
