Step 4Section 2: Installation of 2-way cable interlockProceed with the following 7 steps:Step1: Remove the hexagonal bolts (four for 3 pole breakersand six for 4 pole breakers) from the front cover connectedto the circuit breaker using a 10 mm 1/4-inch socket wrench.Then pull down on the charging handle by about 45° angle toremove the front cover.Step 2: Remove the U-shaped plastic sheet on the right sideof the front cover using a vice, and carefully remove theburrs on the section.Step 3: Install the drive arm (E) downwards on the right endof the shaft as shown. Use M6x25 flat head screws (G) forconnection. Torque to 65-85 lb-ft (7.3-9.6 Nm).Note:1. If the major shaft end has not been machined as shown,contact Eaton for instructions.2. 2. If the M6 nut is not in the slot as shown, move thebolt on the top of the bracket and loosen the 2 bolts onthe bottom by 7 turns, and retain the tripper bar in theposition as shown. Slide out of the top of the circuitbreaker bracket and insert the square nut (J) into theslot, facing outward, and tighten the three bolts.Step 4: Install the drive lever assembly first. Install a squarenut (J) and wave washer (I) on the threaded rod (H), insertit into the interlocking shaft. Then install a wave washer andcompression spring (F). Tighten it with a M6 nut (A).
