The bypass feed into this equipment uses three or four wires. The rectifier feed into thisequipment uses three wires. The phases must be symmetrical about ground (from a Wyesource) for proper equipment operation.7. If the load requires a neutral, a bypass source neutral must be provided. If the load doesnot require a neutral and there is no neutral conductor connected at the bypass input, aneutral to ground bonding jumper must be installed. DO NOT install both a source neutraland a bonding jumper. See Table E through Table J for neutral bonding jumper wire sizes.Bonding jumper must be copper wire. See Following Cautions.C A U T I O NHIGH IMPEDANCE GROUND SOURCES - If the source of supply is a high impedance ground (IT) type, the input neutralconductor must be connected from the source of supply. If there is no output neutral connected to the UPS, theneutral‐forming transformer kit (PN 103005400) may be used instead of pulling a neutral from the source. If the load requiresa neutral then an input neutral conductor must be pulled into the UPS. In no circumstances shall a neutral to ground bondingjumper be installed in the UPS.POWER WIRING INSTALLATION NOTES071608D2 of 23DESCRIPTION:DATE:DRAWING NO: SHEET:REVISION:164201603-5
