Do not cutmetal, plastic or any non-wood material.• Read the ECHO “CHAIN SAW SAFETY MANUAL”included with your chain saw for additional cutting andsafety instructions.• Wear suitable hearing protection such as earmuffs orearplugs to protect against objectionable oruncomfortable loud noises.• Do not let the tip of the bar touch anything while theengine is running. At cutting speed the chain is movingat a high rate of speed. Should the tip contact a limb orlog while the chain is moving, the tip will be pushedupward with considerable force. This is known askickback. Avoid it!In all circumstances the operation of the chain saw is aone-man job.
