FARO® Laser Scanner Focus3D X 130 ManualJanuary 201413Chapter 3: Safety Precautions and MaintenanceIn accordance with IEC 60825-1:2007, the Focus 3D X 130 is equipped with thefollowing explanatory label:Mechanical Security• WARNING: The mirror unit rotates with high speed while scanning and for ashort period after the scan. While the mirror is rotating keep distance to theproduct and do not touch the rotating mirror unit with your hands, fingers orany objects at the risk of personal injury and damage to the Focus 3D X 130.• The Focus 3D X 130 will rotate clockwise up to 360 degrees when performing ascan. Ensure that the case of the Focus 3D X 130 can rotate freely and will nothit any objects during the scan.• CAUTION: The Focus3D X 130 may only be used when set on a flat andstable surface. Injuries may result if the Focus3D X 130 overturns. Only useequipment recommended by FARO and follow the setup instructions in thismanual or in the manual of the manufacturer of the equipment.• If using a cart, move the setup with special care. Never move the cart bypulling at the power cables.
