Lift the end of the burner assembly, then pull awayfrom the front of the range to free the air shutterfrom the gas valve orifice.To remove burned-on food, soak the burners in asolution of mild liquid detergent and water or asolution for cleaning the inside of coffee makers, suchas Dip-It@ brand. Soak the burners for 20 to 30 minutes.If the food does not rinse off completely, scrub themwith soap and water and a brush or plastic pad. Do notuse steel wool or abrasive cleansers because they willclog the burner openings and scratch the burners. Ifthe holes become clogged, clean them with a smallsewing needle or a small safety pin.Do not attempt to clean burners in an automaticdishwasher.
