It may not crush ordispense well. Avoid overfilling glass with ice and useof narrow glasses. Backed-up ice can jamthe chute or cause the door in the chute tofreeze shut. If ice is blocking the chute, poke it through with a wooden spoon. Beverages and foods should not bequick-chilled in the ice storage drawer.Cans, bottles or food packages in thestorage drawer may cause the icemakeror auger to jam. To keep dispensed ice from missingthe glass, put the glass close to, but nottouching, the dispenser opening. Some crushed ice may be dispensed eventhough you selected CUBED ICE. Thishappens occasionally when a few cubesaccidentally get directed to the crusher. After crushed ice is dispensed, some watermay drip from the chute. Sometimes a small mound of snow willform on the door in the ice chute. Thiscondition is normal and usually occurswhen you have dispensed crushed icerepeatedly. The snow will eventuallyevaporate.
