On some models, a screwat the front of the light shield willhave to be removed. On other models,the screw is located in the pocket locatedat the back of the shield.To remove the light shield, on somemodels, press in on the tabs on the sidesof the shield and slide forward and out.On other models, just slide the shieldforward and out.After replacing the bulb with an appliancebulb of the same or lower wattage,replace the light shield and screw. Whenreplacing the light shield, make sure thatthe tabs at the backof the shield fit into the slots atthe back of the light shield housing.Plug the refrigerator back in.TabsYour light shield will look likeone of the following:PocketORFor long vacations or absences, remove foodand unplug the refrigerator. Cleanthe interior with a baking soda solutionof one tablespoon (15 ml) of baking soda toone quart (1 liter) of water.
