CHAPTER 5: SETTINGS PRODUCT SETUPF60 FEEDER PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL 5-4355.3.4.11 DNP / IEC 60870-5-104 point listsSETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP COMMUNICATIONS DNP / IEC104 POINT LISTSUp to 256 binary and up to 256 analog input points for the DNP protocol, or the MSP and MME points for IEC 60870-5-104protocol, can be configured. The value for each point is user-programmable and can be configured by assigning FlexLogicoperands for binary inputs / MSP points or FlexAnalog parameters for analog inputs / MME points. The menu for the binary input points (DNP) or MSP points (IEC 60870-5-104) follows.SETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP COMMUNICATIONS DNP / IEC104 POINT LISTS BINARY INPUT / MSP POINTSUp to 256 binary input points can be configured for the DNP or IEC 60870-5-104 protocols. The points are configured byassigning an appropriate FlexLogic operand. See the Introduction to FlexLogic section in this chapter for the range ofassignable operands.Changes to the DNP / IEC 60870-5-104 point lists take effect when the F60 is restarted. The menu for the analog input points (DNP) or MME points (IEC 60870-5-104) follows.SETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP COMMUNICATIONS DNP / IEC104 POINT LISTS ANALOG INPUT / MMEPOINTSUp to 256 analog input points can be configured for the DNP or IEC 60870-5-104 protocols. The analog point list isconfigured by assigning an appropriate FlexAnalog parameter to each point. See the FlexAnalog Parameters section inAppendix A for the range of assignable parameters.Changes to the DNP / IEC 60870-5-104 point lists take effect when the F60 is restarted.5.3.4.12 IEC 61850 protocol DNP / IEC104 POINT LISTS BINARY INPUT / MSP POINTSSee below ANALOG INPUT / MME POINTSSee below BINARY INPUT / MSP POINTS Point: 0OffRange: FlexLogic operand Point: 1OffRange: FlexLogic operand Point: 255OffRange: FlexLogic operand ANALOG INPUT / MME POINTS Point: 0OffRange: any FlexAnalog parameter Point: 1OffRange: any FlexAnalog parameter Point: 255OffRange: any FlexAnalog parameterThe DNP / IEC 60870-5-104 point lists always begin with point 0 and end at the first “Off” value. Since DNP / IEC60870-5-104 point lists must be in one continuous block, any points assigned after the first “Off” point are ignored. The F60 is provided with optional IEC 61850 communications. This feature is specified as a software option atthe time of ordering. See the Order Codes section in chapter 2 for details.
