Dryer may be sittingunevenly.Move dryer to an even floor space, or adjust leveling legs asnecessary until even.Clothes taketoo long to dry Improper sorting Separate heavy items from lightweight items (generally, awell-sorted washer load is a well-sorted dryer load).Large loads of heavy fabrics(like beach towels) Large, heavy fabrics contain more moisture and take longer to dry.Separate large, heavy fabrics into smaller loads to speed dryingtime.Non-venting dryer Condensing dryers usually take longer to dry than a vented dryer.Controls improperly set Match control settings to the load you are drying.Lint filter is full Clean lint filter before every load.Blown fuses or trippedcircuit breaker Replace fuses or reset circuit breakers. Since most dryers use 2fuses/breakers, make sure both are operating.Overloading/combining loads Do not put more than one washer load in the dryer at a time.Underloading If you are drying only one or two items, add a few items to ensureproper tumbling.The Drydryness levelwas chosenbut load is stilldampLoad consists of a mixture ofheavy and light fabrics When combining heavy and light fabrics in a load, choose MoreDry.Lint filter, condenser, and/orair intake vent located on thefront of the dryer is blockedInspect and clean lint filter, condenser, and/or air intake ventlocated on the front of the dryer.Dry Sensor is dirty Clean the sensor with a moist cloth.Control buttonsnot responding Controls accidentally put inservice mode Press Start/Pause.Controls accidentally put inlock mode Hold the Lock Control button for 3 seconds to unlock the dryer.Controls performed anincorrect operation Reset the in-house breaker.Dryer doesn’tstart Control panel is “asleep” This is normal. Press Power to activate the control panel.Dryer is unplugged Make sure the dryer plug is pushed completely into the outlet.Fuse is blown/circuit breakeris tripped Check the building’s fuse/circuit breaker box and replace fuse orreset breaker. NOTE: Electric dryers use two fuses or breakers.Dryer was accidentallypaused when starting DelayDryIf the light on the Start/Pause button is flashing, the dryer ispaused. Press Start/Pause to restart the countdown.Water tank is full If the Empty Tank light is on, you must empty the water tankbefore the dryer will start.
