Adjustment of this function will improve theaccuracy of the BDI. In order to determine this setting, thevoltage drop of the battery under load must first becalculated by the following method:1. Record open circuit voltage (Vo) by measuring thevoltage at the control positive and negative powerterminals.2. Load the traction motor to 100 amps in 1A and record thevoltage (VL) at the control positive and negative powerterminals.3. Calculate voltage drop (VDrop) as follows:VDrop = VO - VL4.
