Do not store plasticsand flammable material in the drawer.Do not overload the storage drawer. If thedrawer is too heavy, it may slip off thetrack when opened.To open the drawer, grasp the center ofthe handle and pull straight out.To remove:Pull the drawer straight out and lift overthe guide stops.To replace:Lift over the guide stops and slide thedrawer into place.To clean both the inside and the outside:Wipe with soap and water. Rinse well.Do not use cleansing powders or harshabrasives which may scratch the surface.The storage drawer may beremoved for cleaning under therange.Broiler Pan & GridDo not clean the broiler pan or grid in a self-cleaning oven.After broiling, remove the broiler panfrom the oven. Remove the grid from thepan. Carefully pour out the grease fromthe pan into a proper container.Wash and rinse the broiler pan and gridin hot water with a soap-filled or plasticscouring pad.If food has burned on, sprinkle the gridwith detergent while hot and cover withwet paper towels or a dishcloth. Soakingthe pan will remove burned-on foods.Both the broiler pan and grid may becleaned with a commercial oven cleaner.Both the broiler pan and grid can also becleaned in a dishwasher.Do not store a soiled broiler pan and gridanywhere in the range.After broiling, remove the broilerpan from the oven.Oven Light Bulb (on some models)NOTE: The glass cover should beremoved only when cold. Wearing latexgloves may offer a better grip.Before replacing the bulb, disconnectelectrical power to the range at the mainfuse or circuit breaker panel. Let the bulbcool completely before removing it. Foryour safety, do not touch a hot bulb with adamp cloth. If you do, the bulb will break.To remove:Turn to remove the cover, then removethe bulb.To replace:Put in a new 40-watt appliance bulb.NOTE:nA 40-watt appliance bulb is smaller than astandard 40-watt household bulb.nInstall and tighten the cover.nReconnect electrical power to the range.nFor improved lighting inside the oven, cleanthe glass cover frequently using a wet cloth.This should be done when the oven iscompletely cool.BulbSocketMaximumlength31⁄2”Glass coverPainted SurfacesPainted surfaces include the sides and thedrawer front.Clean these with soap and water or avinegar and water solution.Do not use commercial oven cleaners,cleaning powders, steel wool or harshabrasives on any painted surface.21
