To Set the ClockThe clock must be set to the correct time ofday for the automatic oven timingfunctions to work properly. The time of daycannot be changed during a timed bakingor self-cleaning cycle.Touch the CLOCK pad.Touch the number pads.Touch the START pad.Make sure the clock is set to thecorrect time of day.To Set the TimerTouch the KITCHEN TIMERON/OFF pad.Touch the number pads until theamount of time you want showsin the display. For example, to set2 hours and 45 minutes, touch 2, 4and 5 in that order. If you make amistake touch the KITCHEN TIMERON/OFF pad and begin again.Touch the START pad.After touching the START pad, SETdisappears; this tells you the time iscounting down, although the display doesnot change until one minute has passed.Seconds will not be shown in the displayuntil the last minute is counting down.When the timer reaches :00, thecontrol will beep 3 times followedby one beep every 6 seconds untilthe KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF padis touched.The 6-second tone can be canceled byfollowing the steps in the Special featuresof your oven control section under Tonesat the End of a Timed Cycle.The timer is a minute timer only.The timer does not control ovenoperations. The maximum settingon the timer is 9 hours and 59minutes.To Reset the TimerIf the display is still showing the timeremaining, you may change it by touchingthe KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad, thentouch the number pads until the time youwant appears in the display.If the remaining time is not in the display(clock, delay start or cooking time are inthe display), recall the remaining time bytouching the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF padand then touching the number pads toenter the new time you want.To Cancel the TimerTouch the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFFpad twice.15Your control will allow you to lock out thetouch pads so they cannot be activatedwhen pressed.To lock/unlock the controls:Touch the 9 and 0 pads at the sametime for 3 seconds, until the displayshows LOC ON.To unlock the control, touchthe 9 and 0 pads at the same time for3 seconds, until the display showsLOC OFF.When this feature is on and the touch padsare touched, the control will beep and thedisplay will show LOC ON.n The control lockout mode affects alltouch pads.
