Set the Oven for CleaningThe range must be completely coolin order to set the self-clean cycle,1. Push the CLEAN button_2° Turn SET knob in the clockwisedirection about t/2 turn,. Thedisplay will show "3:30?'The words "CLEAN TIME"will be displayed on the left.Within 20 seconds, the words"CLEAN LOCK" will bedisplayed on the right.Note: You can find out when theclean cycle will be finished bypushing the STOP TIME button.The word "DOOR" is displayedwhen you try to set a clean cyclewith the door' open or when theoven temperature is too high.To Set a Delayed Start1, Push STOP TIME button.2. Turn SET knob to time of daywhen you wish cleaning to becompleted (must be more than3'/-, hours later' than currenttime of day)_3, Push the CLEAN button4, Turn SET knob in the clockwisedirection about 1t2 turn,The words "DELAY CLEAN"will be on in the display until theclean cycle starts, After the cleancycle starts, the word "CLEAN"will be on in the display.Note: During a delayed self-cleanoperation, you can find out whenthe oven turns on by pushing andholding the CLEAN button,,To Stop a Clean CycleI. Press the CANCEL button2, Wait until the oven has cooledbelow locking temperature (about20-30 minutes) and the word"LOCK" is off in the displayYou witt not be able to open thedoor right away unless the oventemperature is at a safe level. Ifyou cannot open the oven doorimmediately after' the wordLOCK _,oes off, wait oneminute and try again.After Self-Cleaning1. When a clean cycle is finished,the word "CLEAN" will be offin the display_2. "Wait until the oven has cooledbelow Iocldng temperature (about20-30 minutes) and the word"LOCK" is off in the displayYou will not be able to open thedoor unless the oven temperatureis at a safe levd If you cannotopen the oven door immediatelyafter' the word "LOCK" goes off,wait about one minute and try again.You may notice some white ashin the oven, Just wipe it up witha damp cloth,.If' white spots remain, removethem with a soap-filled steel woolpad, Be sure to rinse thoroughlywith a vinegar and water mixture,These deposits are usually a saltresidue that cannot be removedby the clean cycle,If' the oven is not clean after oneclean cycle, repeat the cycle(continued next page)!iiIlQt_=Ct_=21
