ClampingTabTighten theclamping screwuntil the clampingtab is fully seatedagainst the wirecompartment. ClampinScrewClampingTabComplete the restof the installation observing local codes(see Steps 9 and 10).When complete reinstall the wire compartmentcover.Step 8Installing the Cool(lopRemove grease jar(s) from beneath cooktopto avoid breakage. Remove vent grille fromcooktop's surface. Using 2 people, positioncooktop over countertop opening, with powercable inserted through the opening.Holding cooMop byside edges, lower itinto countertopopening.
