Do not useto heat cold food. Placing uncooked orcold food on theWARMING ZONE couldresult in food-borne illness.Push and turn the control knob to anydesired setting.For best results, all foods on theWARMING ZONE should be covered witha lid or aluminum foil. When warmingpastries or breads, the cover should bevented to allow moisture to escape.Always use pot holders or oven mittswhen removing food from theWARMINGZONE, since cookware and plates will behot.CAUTION: Do not warm food on theWARMING ZONE for more than two hours.NOTE: The surface warmer will not glow red likethe cooking elements.AHOT surface indicator light will glowwhen the glass surface is hot and willremain on until the surface is coolenough to touch. Lower settings may notheat the glass surface enough to cause theHOT surface indicator light to come on.AWARMING ZONE indicator light willglow when the unit is on.nDo not use plastic wrap to cover food.
