Filtershould be cleaned every 6 months.Rinse, shake and let it dry beforereplacing.To replace, slide the filter in the frameslot on the left side of the opening. Pullup and to the right to lock into place.Replacement grease filter (WB02X11536)available from your GE supplier.Charcoal FilterThe charcoal filter cannot be cleaned.It must be replaced. Order Part No.JX81J (sales number) or WB02X1124(service number) from your GEsupplier.If the model is not vented to theoutside, the air will be recirculatedthrough a disposable charcoal filterthat helps remove smoke and odors.The charcoal filter should be replacedevery 6 months or when LED is on.6HH´2SWLRQDO.LWVμSDJHIRUPRUHinformation.To Remove Charcoal FilterTo remove the charcoal filter,disconnect power at the main fuse orcircuit breaker panel or pull the plug.Open the filter door by pushing down2 buttons on the top of the microwavejust above the filter door.Push the filter at the bottom until itcomes free of the locking tabs. Slide thefilter down and out.Filter Housing.To Install Charcoal FilterTo install a new filter, remove plastic andother outer wrapping from the new filter.Insert the filter into the left side of thefront top opening of the oven as shown.It will rest at an angle on 2 side supporttabs and in front of the right rear tab.Close the filter door.25
