Allow an additional3-feet length from ceiling joists to reach the junctionbox on the hood.• Connect the wiring to the house wiring in accordancewith local codes.Grounding instructionsThe grounding conductor must be connectedto a ground metal, permanent wiring system, or anequipment-grounding terminal or lead on the hood.WARNING: The improper connectionof equipment-grounding conductor can result in a riskof electric shock.
