Thisallows for quicker load restoration, as it is not necessary to wait for the full dead time to expire.If CS AR Immediate is disabled, or neither Line nor Bus are live, the dead timer will continue to run, if the DeadTime Enabled signal is high. The Dead Time Enabled function could be mapped to an opto-input to indicate thatthe circuit breaker is healthy.
