HALOGEN/RADIANT SURFACE UNIT CONTROLSHalogen Surface UnitThe controls selected for the halogenhadiantcomponent will give you a full range of heat settingsfor cooking.The control knobs must be pushed down to turnfrom the off (0) position. When the control knobsare in any position other than off(0), they may beturned without pushing down.You may notice that the knob that operates thehalogen surface unit is slightly harder to turn thanthe knob for the radiant surface unit. This is dueto the difference in design between the two controls.NOTE:. The lowest three settings will produce no visibleevidence of the surface unit being on although upto 11% of the total wattage is being generated. Onthe lowest settings, the percentage of power maynot cause the hot surface lights to light. When the control knobsare in any position other than off(0), they may beturned without pushing down.Be sure you turn the conrol knob off(0) whenyou finish cooking. You will feel a “click” at theoff position.11
