Scroll andlook for the energy management screen as seen below.This screen means the module is attached correctly andyou can begin to use your DR-enabled appliance followingthe instructions below.If the Energy Management Screen is not available, refer tothe DR module troubleshooting guide.Quick GuideThere are 4 power levels available: Critical, High, Medium andLow. On the Medium and Low levels, the unit runs as normal.The following steps show how the unit reacts during startupat Critical and High power levels.Option 1 (Delay Eco)During startups at Critical and High levels, the unit will delaystarting until the level becomes Medium or Low. Press theSTART/PAUSE button.Option 2 (Override Delay Eco)To start the unit when Delay Eco is shown, press the DELAYSTART button to turn the delay off. Then press START/PAUSEto begin the cycle.Settings MenuPress SETTINGS; then select Energy Management.Delay Eco OverrideIf you are starting a cycle in a Critical or High utility rate, thisoption allows the unit to automatically run on an Eco Cycle. Thissetting will operate with less energy than normal cycles. Defaultsetting is YES.Auto-Extend DelaysIf a timed delay is selected, this option allows for the scheduledstart to extend if the utility rate is Critical or High at thescheduled start. The default setting will automatically extendthese cycles.Timed Dry Eco OptionIf the unit is running in Timed Dry Mode and the utility rateswitches to Critical or High, the unit will conserve energy bydecreasing heat if YES (default) is selected. If NO is selected, theunit will operate normally.NOTE: When YES (default) is selected, your load may be dampat the end of the cycle.In order for the demand response features on the appliance towork, additional equipment is required to be installed to interfacewith the local utility. Such equipment may be sold separatelyand/or is available through your utility as part of the pilot testprogram. Check with your utility company to see if a pilot testprogram is available in your area and for full details.PLEASE NOTE: At the conclusion of the pilot test program or ifyou move to an area where the program is not available, thedemand response features cannot be activated and utilized onthe appliance.
