– 46 –Freezer ThermistorThe freezer thermistor is inserted in the thermistorcover located in the ceiling of the freezercompartment behind the light. To access thethermistor it is necessary to remove the freezerbasket and drawer. (See Freezer Basket and Drawer.)To remove the thermistor cover, insert a flat bladescrewdriver under the cover and gently pry thecover from the ceiling.The thermistor is connected to the refrigerator witha wire harness.ThermistorThermistor CoverDisconnect(Continued next page)Fresh Food Evaporator ThermistorTo access the fresh food evaporator thermistor thefresh food evaporator cover must be removed. (SeeFresh Food Evaporator Cover.) The housing cover canbe removed to disconnect the wire harnesses to thethermistor. (See Fresh Food Evaporator.)The fresh food thermistor is located on theevaporator inlet tube.The thermistor wiring is attached to the evaporatorwith 2 plastic wire ties and is held to the inlet tubewith a plastic clamp.
