A newly installed refrigerator maytake 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice cubes.If the refrigerator is operated before the waterline connection is made to the unit or if thewater supply to an operating refrigerator isturned off, make sure that the ice maker isturned off. Once the water has been connectedto the refrigerator, the ice maker may be turnedon. See the table below for details.You may hear a buzzing sound each timethe ice maker fills with water.Throw away the first few batches of ice to allowthe water line to clear.Be sure nothing interferes with the sweepof the feeler arm.When the bin fills to the level of the feeler arm,the ice maker will stop producing ice.
