More than twopeople are recommended to lift the dryerinto position because of its weight andsize. Failure to do so could result inpersonal injury or death.• Avoid Tipping and Rupture of UtilityServices. Dryer must be securely attachedto the washer. DO NOT place the washer ontop of the dryer. Failure to do so couldresult in personal injury/death or propertydamage.• Mobile Home or Manufactured HomeInstallation - Stacking of a gas dryer is notpermitted in a mobile home ormanufactured home.MINIMUM CLEARANCE OTHERTHAN ALCOVE OR CLOSETINSTALLATIONMinimum clearance to combustible surfacesand for air opening are: 0" both sides and 1"rear. Consideration must be given to provideadequate clearance for installation andservice.ALCOVE OR CLOSET INSTALLATION• If your dryer is approved for installation inan alcove or closet, it will be stated on alabel on the dryer back.• The dryer MUST be vented to the outdoors.Refer to dryer Installation Instructions fordetails.Minimum clearance between dryer cabinetand adjacent walls or other surfaces is:0" either side3" front and rearMinimum vertical space from floor tooverhead cabinets, ceiling, etc. is 43"without pedestal, 55" with pedestal and84" stacked.Closet doors must be Iouvered or otherwiseventilated and must contain a minimum of60 square inches of open area equallydistributed.
