5Installation notesInstallation locationThe ideal installation location is a dry, well ventilatedroom.The installation location should not be exposed to directsunlight or be near a source of heat, such as a cooker orheater. If installation near a source of heat isunavoidable, a suitable insulating plate must be fitted orthe following minimum distances from the heat sourcemust be observed:− 30 mm from electric cookers,− 300 mm from oil− or coal−fired cookers.Climate classesThe climate class is specified on the rating plate. The side walls must be free of ledges,projections and other uneven profiles.The squareness of the installation niche can bedetermined using appropriate tools, e.g. a spirit level.The side walls and the ceiling of the installation nichemust be at least 16 mm thick.All overhead units, to which the top of the applianceshould be secured, must be firmly connected to the flooror the wall using appropriate means.Floor surfaceTo be able to install the appliance safely and ensure thatit will function correctly, the floor surface must behorizontal and flat. The installation area must be at thesame level as the rest of the room. The floor surfacemust be strong enough to support the heavy load of theappliance and be made of a hard, inflexible material.
