Part # P143 (11/10/08)Page 12CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONSServicing must be carried out by a competent person inaccordance with the lawWARNING: Turn off the gas supply to the appliance at theservice cock before commencing any servicing workIMPORTANT: Test for gas soundness on completion of anyservicing workThe following instructions are intended to describe theoperations necessary to convert equipment from operationon one gas family to that of another1 Ensure that all of the parts necessary to make theconversion have been supplied as follows:a Injector fittings (One required for each main burner)b Pilot injector fittings (One required per pilot burner)c Gas adjustment label (One required per unit)If any of the required parts are missing, contact your Garlanddealer before attempting to carry out the conversionNOTE: Conversion kits supplied for G31 gas will containredundant fittings and markings covering both 37 mbar & 50mbar gas supplies2 Remove the burners following the instructions given inthis manual3 Replace each injector fitting with the new fitting that issuppliedNOTE: Before doing so, refer to Table D (Table G for AustralianModels) in this manual to ensure that the correct injector hasbeen supplied for the gas supply being converted to4 Replace each pilot injector fitting with the new fittingsuppliedEnsure that you have the correct pilot injector beforereplacingUpon completion of all the above operations, follow thesection in the manual on “Commissioning” and ensurethat the setting pressure and all burner flame settings areadjusted accordinglyContinuous product improvement is a Garland policy,therefore specifications and design are subject to changewithout notice
