Examine the cookware for induction cooking:• Pans must be induction ready. See details insection 3 Operation.• Minimum pan size: Pan must have bottomdiameter larger than 12cm [5”]. Otherwise, thepan will not be heated. This is a safety feature.The sensors do not detect pan smaller than thisminimum size.2. Put some water in an induction pan and place it in thecenter of a cook-zone.3. Turn the control knob to a ON position. The indicatorlamp illuminates and the water is heated.ON PositionAny positionbetweenpower levels“1” to “12”.Indicatorlamp. is on.OFF Position“0” on dial ispointing tothe Indicatorlamp. Thelamp is off.4. The Air System Cooling Fanindicator lamp is ON.5. Remove the pan away from the cook-zone.NOTE: When power transmission to the pan bottomstops, the indicator lamp blinks.6. Place the pan back on the cook-zone. The heatingprocess resumes.NOTE: The indicator lamp illuminates continuouslyagain when energy is being transferred to the pan.7. Turn the control knob to the OFF position.
