Remove the weather cap and screwfrom the VHF antenna.2. Remove the old VHF antenna.3. Align the new VHF antenna withthe DC 40.4. Replace the screw and the weathercap.5. Replace the mounting plate andscrews.6. Replace the zip tie that secures theVHF antenna to the collar.Trim the zip tie and any sharpedges.Changing the Fuse in theVehicle Power CablenoticeWhen replacing the fuse, do not loseany of the small pieces and makesure they are put back in the properposition. The vehicle power cabledoes not work unless it is assembledcorrectly.If your device does not charge in yourvehicle, you may need to replace thefuse located at the tip of the vehicleadapter.1. Use a coin to push down thesilver tip, and turn the coincounterclockwise, one-quarter turn.2. Remove the end piece, the silvertip, and the fuse.3. Install a 1 A fast blow fuse of thesame size.4. Replace the silver tip and the endpiece.
