Press the PROC key to display the ProceduresPage.2. Turn the large FMS knob to highlight ‘SelectApproach’ and press the ENT key.3. Turn the large FMS knob to select theAPPROACH field.4. Turn the large FMS knob to highlight select thedesired approach. Press the ENT key.5. The cursor will move to the TRANSITIONSfield. Turn the large FMS knob to highlight thedesired transition waypoint and press the ENTkey. Turn the large FMS knob to highlight ‘Load?’ or‘Activate?’ and press the ENT key. ‘Load?’ willadd the procedure to the flight plan withoutimmediately using it for navigation guidance.This allows you to continue navigating theoriginal flight plan, but keeps the procedureavailable on the Active Flight Plan Page forquick activation when needed. ‘Activate?’overrides the “enroute” portion of theactive flight plan, proceeding directly to the“approach” portion.NOTE: You can also load an approach by pressingthe APR softkey.
