Theexternal autopilot unit is then responsible for moving the flight controls.This section contains the following terminology:• External Autopilot Unit: Refers to the third-party autopilot box.• Integrated Autopilot: Refers to the functionality available when the ExternalAutopilot Unit and the G300 are working together.NOTE: In a multiple display configuration, the external autopilot unitis connected to a single GDU (most likely the PFD). In the event that theGDU connected to the external autopilot unit fails, the integrated autopilotcapability will be lost.
