Numeric labels occur every 10˚. Major tick marksare at 5˚ intervals and minor tick marks at 1˚ intervals. A digital reading of the currentheading appears in the center of the Heading Strip.The Turn Rate Indicator is located above the Heading Strip. Tick marks to the left andright of the displayed heading denote standard turn rates (3 deg/sec). A magenta TurnRate Trend Vector shows the current turn rate. The end of the trend vector gives theheading predicted in 6 seconds, based on the present turn rate. A standard-rate turnis shown on the indicator by the trend vector stopping at the standard turn rate tickmark, corresponding to a predicted heading of 18˚ from the current heading.
