The unit also automatically transitionsfrom OPERATE to STANDBY mode 24 seconds after landing.After power-up, the GTS 800 is in Standby Mode. The GTS 800 must be in OperatingMode for traffic to be displayed and for TAs to be issued.Pressing the OPERATE Softkey allows the traffic unit to switch from Standby Modeto Operating Mode as necessary.
