In additionto displaying a map of the currently selected VOR and surrounding area, the pagedisplays the region, city, state, bearing, distance, latitude, longitude, frequency, class(High, Low, or Terminal VOR), facility name, and aircraft's current radial from the VOR.The Nearest VOR Page can be used to quickly find a VOR close to the flight path. Thelist only includes VORs that are within 200nm. If there are no VORs in the list, "NoneWithin 200nm" is displayed.Localizer information cannot be viewed on the VOR Information Page. If a VORstation is combined with a TACAN station it is listed as a VORTAC on the VORInformation Page and if it includes only DME, it’s displayed as VOR-DME.Selecting a VOR:1) From the Waypoint (Wpt) Page.2) Touch the waypoint identifier at the top of the page.3) Enter the VOR identifier using the keypad and touch Enter.Or:1) Press the NRST Key.2) Touch the Page Navigation Bar.3) Touch VORs.4) Touch the desired VOR from the list.USER WAYPOINTSThe G3X Touch can create and store up to 3,000 user-defined waypoints. Once awaypoint has been created, it can be renamed, deleted, or moved.NOTE: Most terrain and obstacle warnings will be suppressed when theaircraft is determined to be taking off or landing at an airport - including anairport that's defined by a user waypoint (that has been saved as an airportsymbol) instead of the navigation database.
