B ASIC OPERATION IN MARINE MODEThis section explains some of the more common operations you will perform with your GPSMAP 376C, such as navigating to a destination.To switch usage modes:1. Press and hold the PAGE/MODE key. The Usage Mode menu appears.2. Use the ROCKER to select either Automotive or Marine, and press ENTER.Marine Mode Page SequenceThe GPSMAP 376C offers two usage modes, Marine Mode (default) and Automotive Mode. The main pages are linked together in a seriesthat you can cycle through by pressing the PAGE key to move forward and the QUIT key to reverse. Each page also has an options menuthat allows you to customize each page to your preferences and/or select features. To view the options menu, press the MENU key.Marine Mode features five main pages: Map, Compass, Highway, Active Route, and Position Data. An optional XM Audio Page can beenabled in Marine Mode. The following examples show the main pages in Marine Mode with optional MapSource BlueChart detailed maps.Marine Mode is the default mode for the GPSMAP 376C. This manual first addresses the page, such as the Map Page, as it appears in MarineMode.
