The first time you use twodevices together, you must “pair”them by establishing a relationshipusing a PIN/passkey. After the initialpairing, the two devices can connectautomatically each time you turn themon.To pair and connect, your device andthe zūmo must be turned on and bewithin 33 feet (10 meters) of eachother. The zūmo can be connected to aphone and a headset at the same time.Initiate pairing from your zūmoor from your device. Refer to theinstructions for your devices.When you turn on the zūmo, it triesto connect to the last device to whichit was connected. You might have toset your device to connect to the zūmoautomatically when it is turned on.When your phone is connected to yourzūmo, you are ready to make phonecalls. From the Menu page, touchPhone to access the Phone menu.Pairing Your Phone Usingthe Phone1. Enable the Bluetooth settingon your zūmo. Touch Tools >Settings > Bluetooth.2. Select Enabled.3. Enable the Bluetooth componenton your phone. This might be in amenu called Settings, Bluetooth,Connections, or Hands‑free.4. Initiate a search for Bluetoothdevices.5. Select the zūmo from the list ofdevices.6. Enter 1234 into your phone.
